Project Overview

This elegant U-Shaped Floating Staircase was designed and constructed with a strong steel structural frame, creating a durable and modern foundation for the overall design.

The staircase features premium Burmateak Shegun wood treads, finished with high-quality lacquer polishing to achieve a rich, warm, and refined appearance. The natural beauty of the wood creates a sophisticated contrast with the sleek steel structure.

The staircase is complemented by a crystal-clear glass railing, which helps maintain an open and bright atmosphere throughout both flights of stairs.

One of the most striking features of this project is the dramatic cascading pendant lighting installation above the stairwell. The statement lighting transforms the staircase into a stunning architectural centerpiece and adds a luxurious visual character to the interior.

Set against a softly textured accent wall and polished marble flooring, this staircase brings a premium and elegant finish to the duplex home's interior.

Project Challenge

The main challenge of this project was coordinating the U-shaped staircase structure with the large suspended cascading pendant lighting installation.

Careful planning and precise execution were required to ensure that the staircase structure, wood treads, glass railing, and pendant lights aligned perfectly throughout the stairwell without interfering with one another.

The final design successfully achieved a seamless balance between structural strength, functionality, lighting, and modern architectural aesthetics.
