Project Overview
An L-shaped floating staircase completed in Aftabnagar, Dhaka, built with a middle stringer steel structure and steel tread base, finished with premium CTG Shegun wooden treads.
The railing combines stainless steel with 10mm tempered clear glass and a wooden handrail, creating a bright, open staircase that suits the double-height interior of the home.
Project Challenge
The staircase needed to turn cleanly through an L-shaped layout while keeping a floating, open appearance throughout the run.
A concealed middle stringer steel structure was engineered to support the turn and each wooden tread without compromising the clean sightlines the client wanted.
