Project Overview
This project features a modern dog-legged floating staircase completed in the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Dhaka.
The staircase was constructed using a heavy-duty steel structure, combined with premium CTG Shegun wood and metal treads for a sophisticated and durable finish.
To enhance the open and contemporary appearance, the staircase features a crystal-clear glass railing. The overall structure is finished with a high-quality DUCO and leather polish, creating a rich and deep visual tone.
Integrated LED tread lighting adds a warm, modern glow to the staircase, enhancing both its functionality and architectural appeal.
Project Challenge
One of the main challenges of this project was the extremely limited available space.
The staircase had a width of only approximately 2.5 feet, requiring careful planning and engineering to make the most of the available footprint.
Despite the space limitation, Metal Sign engineered a dog-legged floating staircase that maintains an open, elegant, and visually spacious appearance.
This project demonstrates that even a compact space can accommodate a sophisticated staircase design without compromising its overall aesthetic appeal.
