Proper maintenance helps preserve the beauty, durability, and long-term performance of your Metal Sign staircase, metal fabrication, glass, and aluminium installations. By following the care recommendations below, you can maintain the premium appearance and structural integrity of your investment for years to come.
Routine Cleaning
Clean steel, glass, aluminium, and wooden surfaces regularly using a soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth. For best results, use mild soap and clean water to remove dust, fingerprints, and everyday dirt.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Do not use abrasive cleaning pads, steel wool, strong acids, bleach, or harsh chemical cleaners on finished surfaces, as these products may damage paint, powder coating, lacquer finishes, glass, or wood.
Wood Care
Protect wooden components from excessive moisture, prolonged water exposure, and direct contact with standing water. Wipe away spills promptly to help maintain the natural beauty and longevity of the wood finish.
Inspect Hardware & Fittings
Periodically inspect bolts, fittings, glass clamps, handrails, and other hardware components. If any fasteners become loose through normal use, they should be tightened to maintain safety and stability.
Report Structural Concerns
If you notice unusual movement, loose components, cracks, corrosion, or any structural concern, contact the Metal Sign team immediately. Prompt inspection and maintenance can help prevent further damage and ensure continued safety.
Long-Term Care
Following these maintenance guidelines will help preserve the appearance, strength, and performance of your Metal Sign installation while maximizing its lifespan. Regular care and timely maintenance ensure your staircase or fabrication project continues to perform beautifully for many years.
