Metal Sign is committed to delivering premium-quality staircases, metal fabrication, glass, and aluminium solutions built to last. Our warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of our materials and craftsmanship. The following warranty terms apply to all completed and officially handed-over projects.

Steel Structure Warranty

Metal Sign provides a 10-Year Structural Warranty on all mild steel staircase structures against manufacturing defects, welding defects, and structural workmanship issues under normal residential use and proper maintenance.

Paint & Powder Coating Warranty

A 1-Year Warranty is provided against abnormal peeling, flaking, or failure of paint and powder coating resulting from workmanship or application defects. Normal wear, scratches, and damage caused by misuse or environmental conditions are not covered.

Wood Components Warranty

The warranty on wooden components covers workmanship and installation quality only. Natural characteristics of wood—including grain variation, colour changes, shrinkage, expansion, minor movement, and texture differences—are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Glass Warranty

Tempered glass is covered only for manufacturing defects identified prior to or during installation. Glass breakage, cracks, chips, or other damage resulting from impact, accidents, misuse, or external force after project handover are not covered under warranty.

Hardware & Accessories

Hardware components, fittings, and accessories are covered against manufacturing defects during their applicable warranty period. Damage caused by improper use, accidental impact, or normal wear and tear is excluded.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty will become void under any of the following circumstances:

  • The product has been modified, repaired, or altered by unauthorized persons.
  • Improper use, misuse, negligence, or overloading of the structure.
  • Damage caused by accidents, fire, flooding, earthquakes, storms, chemical exposure, corrosion, or other natural disasters.
  • Failure to follow the recommended maintenance and care instructions provided by Metal Sign.
  • Normal aging, cosmetic wear, scratches, fading, or environmental exposure over time.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your project is covered under this warranty, please contact the Metal Sign team with your project details, photographs of the issue, and a description of the concern. Our technical team will review the information and arrange an inspection if necessary. Approved warranty claims will be resolved in accordance with the terms outlined in this policy.
